Global ARMY Alliance Rejects Calls for Suga's Departure from BTS: "The Group Consists of 7 Members"

In a decisive move, the Global ARMY Alliance, representing BTS fans from 58 countries, has firmly rejected calls for Suga to leave the group following controversy over his alleged drunk driving incident. This alliance, which includes 127 fan bases worldwide, serves as the collective voice of BTS fans, emphasizing the importance of Suga's role as an integral member of the group.

Massive Fan Support in the Philippines:

In the Philippines, thousands of ARMYs took to the streets in a march to support Suga, titled "The Purple March of Love: You’ll Never Walk Alone." Participants wore purple shirts—the color symbolizing BTS—and carried images of Suga, chanting slogans of support, and demonstrating their solidarity with the beloved member. This march was more than just a gathering; it was a clear message that ARMYs stand by Suga in all circumstances.

Official Statement from the Global ARMY Alliance:

In an official statement released on the ninth of the month, the alliance emphasized that demands for Suga’s withdrawal do not represent the majority opinion of ARMYs. The statement read, "The demands being promoted by a small group of individuals do not reflect the stance of the broader fan base, who view Suga as an irreplaceable member of BTS."

The statement continued, "We have observed these actions persist despite repeated objections from ARMY, and there is evidence suggesting involvement from fans of other idol groups attempting to tarnish Suga’s image and create discord within the ARMY community." These allegations underscore the fierce competition in the idol world, where some may exploit minor incidents for unfair advantage.

Unified Support for All Seven BTS Members:

The alliance’s statement reiterated that it supports all seven BTS members equally and rejects holding any member accountable beyond what the law requires. "As ARMY, we stand with Suga and all members of the group in every situation and reject any attempts to divide them or marginalize any member," it asserted.

Global Solidarity with Suga:

Beyond the Philippines, other countries have also seen gatherings and online campaigns to support Suga, with thousands uniting on social media under the hashtag #WeStandWithSuga to express their solidarity. Numerous celebrities and influencers have also shown their support for Suga, highlighting the importance of standing by artists during challenging times.

This overwhelming support from the Global ARMY Alliance demonstrates that BTS is not just a band but a symbol of unity and solidarity, with ARMYs ready to defend all seven members, no matter the challenges.
